Chalmette Ferry

From Chalmette to Algiers and back again, this ferry connects St. Bernard and Orleans Parish across the mighty Mississippi River.

Beautiful views of the New Orleans skyline containing the elevated Mississippi River Bridge are available from aboard the ferry. Wonderful opportunities for establishing shots are available from shore as the ferry arrives and departs.
